FBC @ AC 08 Full Audio Download Coming
FBC Show Info For those of you who were with us Sunday evening, you'll know and remember the awesomeness that transpired during the closing night of Anthrocon 2008.  It was an amazing night filled with laughter, movie reviews, and lively comedy.

Sadly, Jaie won't be making it to Anthrocon this year due some medical conditions that can prove to be life threatening.  So please keep the memory of the FBC @ AC recordings in your heart as you listen to the full audio from last year's con.

Jaie has asked some people to record a show for him in his place, and if you catch wind of it and attend, you won't be dissapointed.  It's a night full of family, friends, and drunken furries having a good time.

The full audio download will be made available in MP3 and M4A formats, and will include hi-def ambient background audio.  It should be up within 48 hours of this post, and will be free to download for all registered users.

Thank you all for supporting the FBC and all that we do.  We wouldn't be here without you.

Rate It Goes Daily
FBC Show Info With over 1,100 tracks to be rated, we've decided to make Rate It a daily show.  So, what does that mean for you?  Every day you'll have a new set of tracks to listen to and rate.  With your input these tracks will either be put into the system, or scrapped forever.  Remember, The FBC is YOUR STATION, so you have to let us know what you like to hear.

Changes, Downtime, and Live DJs
FBC Info We have a planned downtime of 9pm EST Monday, April 6.  We will be moving around some equipment, making some upgrades to our database, and this should only take about 30-60 minutes if all goes well.  Currently, we have no live DJs, and this downtime will change that.  The FBC studio will be getting an audio upgrade along with mics and other cool stuff.  What we need for you to do is record some station IDs for us.  We do have some here at the studio, but this is your station, and we want your voice on it.  You can either send your homemade station IDs via email to fbc [at] jaieproductions [dot] com, or by uploading them directly to the FBC's server.  Either way we'll get them and will throw them into the station's mix.

Free People Free People
What's New A certain cause, and a certain site, came to our attention and we feel that we need to pass along its message.  Free People Free People takes aim at the enslavement of people with a very clear message.  The movement that can be found on Facebook, and on the web, wants to raise funds to end human trafficking, forced prostitution, and oppression.  The way that they raise funds is by selling things.  You can visit their site by going to www.freepeoplefreepeople.org. Please visit their site, and if you can either spread the word, or donate to their worthy cause.

FBC Web Radio Is Online
What's New We've received numerous emails regarding the web player, and how it doesn't work on some browsers.  Well those days should be over.  The code monkeys have come up with a solution that should work in all browsers.  To see what the new player looks like, simply click the "green audio bar" button on the left side of the page; it's the one under the aac, winamp, and windows media player icons.  Enjoy.

Trivia Question Needed
Help Wanted We need your help! We're almost done completing the first ever FBC Trivia Game.  Basically in the style of "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire," we are devising a trivia game that will be utterly furry in nature.  So what we need from you are trivia questions, ranging from easy to ungodly hard. Categories can include movies, art, general knowledge, con specific information, and the likes.

iPhone / iTouch Users Rejoice
What's New For people who have iPhones, or an iPod Touch, you can now rejoice because The FBC is now looking after you.  How so you might ask?  Well, after a bit of hair pulling and endless coding hours, we've ported some of the most important parts of The FBC to an iPhone/iTouch friendly web presence.  All you have to do is point your device to our main URL, and the monkeys behind the scenes here will redirect you to where you need to go.

Another thing that we are happy to announce is that SHOUTcast, the broadcasting division of AOL, has released a free app that you can download to listen to The FBC and many other stations.  You can get the app by going into the App Store and downloading it from there, or from iTunes.  But if you're lazy and don't want to search for it, we've provided a link to all of our users in the FBCi Portal.  All you have to do is sign in with your username and password and you'll see the SHOUTcast link. This will make it so there's no excuses as to why you aren't enjoying "the only internet radio station for the furry fandom" (unless if you can't get a WiFi or 3G signal).

We do have more plans for the mobile users. But those are secret, and our Bunnies of DOOM will eat me alive if i divudge what they are.  So to keep the bunnies happy, and to stay alive, I'll leave you all guessing as to all the new goodies that The FBC has in store for you.
